Kids in Community Kitchen- KICK

This program is a time for children 6-12 years of age to learn some basic skills about meal preparation, safety in the kitchen, and cooperating with others. While learning about nutrition, each week the group cooks a meal that they have planned during the menu planning session. The children get to try new foods, cook foods that they like, cook things that are easy to prepare, and learn about healthy choices.

The program is offered at both of our sites and offered once a week.

Special programs are offered during March Break and the summer months.
