Serving Thunder Bay for 35+ Years, Our Kids Count supports children, youth, and families in Thunder Bay through programs that reduce poverty, build resilience, and create inclusive communities.
Our Kids Count is a nonprofit family resource centre serving Thunder Bay and the surrounding district. Since 1990, we have offered free, community-based programs for children from birth to age 17, their parents, and their caregivers — with a focus on families facing poverty, isolation, or other barriers to wellbeing.
We believe that every child deserves a strong start, and every parent deserves support. Our programs are built around the people who use them — shaped by participant feedback, led by trained staff and community volunteers, and offered at no cost so that access is never a barrier.
Every dollar raised stays in Thunder Bay and supports families right here in our community.
